Secular Collective was born to fill the gaps in the resources available to the secular homeschool community as well as secular households in general.
I am a homeschooling mom with a professional background in creating various tools and resources that utilize one of my favorite things – a spreadsheet! I’ve been known to get excited over well written VBA to automate lengthly manual processes and geek out when I nest a list of vlookup functions without a hitch.
In my spare time I like to teach myself new skills, like HTML back in the days of custom MySpace profiles or Photoshop just for fun.
I put these skills, and others, to use to create resources for families just like mine.
I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.
I’m eclectic in our homeschool approach and am a typical Jill-of-all-trades when it comes to life in general – this has given me exposure to a wide variety of curricula, resources, and approaches for homeschool plus varied methods of managing the chaos that accompanies a full house. Secular Collective will grow into the home for all the random bits of knowledge I’ve collected over the years.
